Police Need Help Finding a Hit-and-Run Driver

by Monty Yolles on January 8, 2013

The Worcester County Sherriff’s department is currently investigating a pedestrian hit and run incident which occurred in Pocomoke, Maryland in late December.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on December 28 near the Your Doc’s In medical office. The female victim was initially struck by a Ford passenger car. After the first collision, the woman was then struck by several more cars.

The Worcester County Sherriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in solving this case.  They are asking for anyone who was in the area to report anything they may have seen that night.  It is possible that one or more drivers ran over the woman unintentionally.  The case is being investigated by Lieutenant Ed Schreier of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office
